The Veazie Group was founded on the belief that the spaces we inhabit shape our lives, hold our memories, and quietly tell the stories of who we are. For Shayna Veazie, design has never been about aesthetics alone. It has always been about legacy.
We work with clients who understand that a home is more than square footage — it is a gathering place, a memory maker, a continuation of something larger than any single generation.

Long before The Veazie Group had a name, there was a painting. Found at a yard sale — bold, expressive, unapologetically alive. Shayna didn't know the artist. She still doesn't. She has spent years trying to find them.
That painting has traveled the world with her. Different cities, different countries, different chapters — absorbing the light of every room it has ever occupied.
Today it anchors the identity of The Veazie Group. Because you never know how something you create can carry meaning for years to come. That is what design is for. That is what these spaces are for.

Meet Shayna

Shayna Veazie was raised in Washington, D.C. — a city shaped by power, culture, and generations of Black excellence. She grew up surrounded by people who understood that building something meaningful was never just for yourself.
"The Veazie Group is, in many ways, a continuation of the legacy my grandfather built — through discipline, vision, and unwavering hard work."
Shayna holds a degree in Fashion Design and Art History with a double minor in African American Studies and Latino Studies from Syracuse University. Her work has always been rooted in one belief: every culture has a story worth honoring, and every family has a history worth designing around.
Before design, she spent years leading large-scale operations in aviation — managing high-level teams across some of the busiest airports in the country. That precision lives in every project she touches today.
